It depends on if you have breaker switch off or on. It also depends on the temperature of your storage area. There are a few variables at play but you can and should watch our battery maintenance videos on our Youtube channel. Below is a link to our battery videos:

in reply to: Battery lifeThat would make life easier for me as a technician too. Unfortunately, I don’t think anyone is going to spend the time doing that. Most of the manufacturers don’t even have something like this for their or product sets. So obtaining that information would be nearly impossible from all manufacturers. Great idea to dream about, but I doubt it will ever materialize, just my opinion. If you go to our Youtube Channel and ask us to make a video for your specific model that you need some help on, we might be able to do so. Thanks for the comment and for joining our forum.

in reply to: Wheel Bearings ChartCan you please share the link so I can see the article you’re referencing?
in reply to: Transformer Backup AlarmI don’t think there is an online copy available after trying to find one. I’m sorry about that. I would reach out to a dealer that carries that model or similar models to see if they can get a you a copy.
in reply to: New temp wheelchair for meWhen you replaced the batteries, where did you buy the batteries? What kind of batteries were they? We’re they used or brand new in the box?
It could be your controller or the motor going bad.
in reply to: scooter running slower that previouslyTechnically, you can, but it would void the warranty and it would be a fire hazard if you don’t know what you’re doing. You would also need to switch out the charger to one that is designed to charge lithium batteries. You should not be doing this unless you really know what you’re doing. Not to sound rude, but if you’re asking this question, you probably should not attempt to do it on your own.
in reply to: LEAD ACID BATTERIESI’ve never heard of this one, but after a quick google search I found https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1323085/Foldawheel-Pw-1000xl.html
in reply to: Foldawheel PW-1000XLDo you hear the braking system click once before it starts to slow down? If so, the electro-magnetic brake assembly might be malfunctioning. When the throttle is not engaged, the electromagnetic brake locks into place, which might be happening slightly. It might be the throttle assembly is also potentially malfunctioning.
in reply to: Pride Victory 10 slowing downUnfortunately, there is no diagram with what you’re asking for. You would just need to take it into a shop with a tech that is honest. Sounds like the tech you’re going to is just trying to get a sale… You may just need a new controller…
in reply to: Pride Maxima won’t move. (Nothing happens)Mobility Scooters require 2x 12 Volt batteries. If you’re using 6 Volt batteries, it will not work.
in reply to: Older Revo Travel Scooter acting upI am not seeing a wiring diagram anywhere, have you tried this: https://static.spacecrafted.com/ac2b624eb5c246fb97ed1076e3bb433b/r/d6d957cf52144161ba660e54ccae2c5b/1/Manual%20889XLSN%20-Flagship.pdf
in reply to: swapping controllersIs it beeping? Any other symptoms? It can be many things, you would need a technician to diagnose if it doesn’t have any other noticeable symptoms.
in reply to: Jazzy 3 ultra power chair will not moveSorry, I’ve never heard of a mobility scooter with that name and upon doing some searches on Google I’m not seeing much information either.

in reply to: How an e-scooter battery worksHello There Rodclower, sorry to hear about your experience. Did you buy it from us? If so, give us a call and we will see if we can get you a free under-storage container. Pride decided to stop including those recently due to complaints about how they work. They are not the easiest things to work with because when you go to remove or re-attach the seat, the storage containers need to be opened (which makes it very awkward to handle).
As far as the scooter stalling out, that doesn’t seem normal. When did you buy it? It should be under warranty if you bought it within the last 12 months.
