I have a 1170 XL chair with E675 High Speed motors and have gone through 3 or 4 sets. I use the chair outdoors/off pavement. I am very active and some time the motors get very hot. I push a lawn mower with it, pull a trailer full of dirt and carry heavy items on the foot rest. I have replaced every thing on the chair except for the frame. I bought the chair new over 10 years ago.
Would the E660 High Torque motors be better suited for my use. My chair has a VS1 70 amp controller. Would the E660 DRVMOTR1112/13 work on my chair.
This is a model that is discontinued and we have never carried it. Unfortunately, I don’t have a ton of feedback for your issue. Personally, I don’t think the motor is rated to do the type of hauling you’re doing. You will continue to burn out motors hauling heavy things and pushing lawn-mowers most likely.
